I came into this world with a committment to Love.  Expanding my own capacity of Love, working to increase the Love on this planet, acting in and with Love in all things are some of my life goals and life purposes.  Of course, I am also human and experience human challenges with respect to this goal; it's not always easy (in fact, it's frequently challenging!), and I've slipped up plenty, but I am comitted to Love because it is worth it!  Challenges are here to help us strengthen ourselves and achieve our goals.

In his acceptance speech for the Nobel Peace Prize, the Dalai Lama said,
I think this is vital, and I feel it's especially vital to live in harmony with ourselves.  Sometimes, I feel like such a hypocrite!  But I am strong, so I stand back up again when I fall.

In my outer world, I work as a massage therapist and bodywork practitioner.  Massage and bodywork, in addition to Yoga and Dance, have revolutionized and changed me for the better, and serving others in these areas blesses me every day.  I was introduced to massage as a student in college.  I attended Penn State Behrend from 1995-2000 and graduated with a B.A. in English/Creative Writing and a minor in Women's Studies.  After graduating I went to The Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy, and have been happily practicing massage ever since.  Since one of my life-long dreams has been to be a dancer, I have now returned to Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, to study Dance, Political Science, and Quantum Physics/Quantum Movement, as well as continue my studies in music (I play piano and guitar) and art.  Another main focus for me there will be to develop a group called The Society for the Expansion and Cultivation of Love.

I am beginning this love-project at Allegheny College in Meadville, PA.  The Society for the Cultivation and Expansion of Love (TSCEL) will run and support activities and events that cultivate, foster, expand, and encourage love, as I feel strongly that love applied to every area of life will improve it drastically and exponentially.  I hope to someday make this a foundation that operates not only locally, but nationally and globally.  I am blogging more on this as I continue to develop it, so stay tuned (and check my blogs)!


I also work with a friend of mine named Mary Diehl at her Indigo Wellness Center in rural Cochranton, PA.  Mary is a gifted and beautiful massage therapist and love/light-worker who began the center as a safe place for people and animals, as a place of love, healing and respite.  Much of the center is straw bale constructed and has been built as greenly and environmentally consciously wherever and whenever possible.  We hold retreats and run workshops and events that support love, healing, and higher truth.  Blogs and more on this to come…
